At Woodlawn Baptist Church, we believe that the local church exists to display the glory of God. That simply means that the church exists to communicate who God is by its words and works.

God created the church to display His glory is the truth that drives us to make sure every ministry we have is Christ-centered and biblically grounded. It motivates us to be aggressive in global missions and local evangelism, knowing that God is glorified by the spread of the Gospel. It also causes us to pray and seek God, knowing we are completely dependent upon the Spirit of God to empower all we do.

We strive to glorify God specifically by being a multigenerational church, that is God-honoring, Christ-exalting, and Spirit-empowered. We welcome and long to see people from all backgrounds come to Christ and worship with us as we exalt Christ and strive for the advancement of His kingdom to the ends of the earth.
